Active Release Technique s for Athletes

mick-acu_edited.jpg

Some injuries and restrictions don’t need rest—they need release. Active Release Techniques (ART) are hands-on, movement-based treatments that target stuck or scarred soft tissue while you move through specific patterns.

It’s not passive. You’ll be asked to move while we apply pressure, tension, and release—freeing up the spots that limit your range, cause pain, or mess with your mechanics. This is elite-level therapy used by top athletes to stay mobile and injury-free.

Who is it for?

  • Athletes with chronic tightness or movement restrictions

  • Runners, lifters, and field sport athletes dealing with mobility issues

  • Gym-goers working around pain or dysfunction

  • Anyone who’s “stretched everything” but still feels stuck

What to expect during a session

We’ll assess how your tissue moves, then work through a combination of pressure and guided movement. You’ll be actively involved in the process. Expect to move, feel a bit of discomfort (the good kind), and notice an immediate change in how your body moves.
