Shoulder Impingement Therapy

mick-acu_edited.jpg

Pain when you reach overhead? Trouble putting on a shirt, pressing, or sleeping on your side?

Sounds like shoulder impingement—where the structures in your shoulder get jammed, pinched, or irritated during movement. It’s usually not a tear. It’s often a movement problem.

Our Shoulder Impingement Therapy focuses on freeing up the shoulder joint, improving shoulder blade control, and reducing the inflammation and pain in the irritated tissue. We combine manual therapy, mobility drills, and strength work to get your arm moving pain-free again.

Who is it for?

  • Lifters with pain pressing or benching

  • Desk workers with poor posture and tight shoulders

  • Tradies or parents doing lots of overhead work

  • Anyone with a stiff, painful shoulder that’s limiting daily life

What to expect during a session

We test how your shoulder and scapula are moving, look at thoracic mobility, and identify what’s jamming the joint. Then we use release work, movement retraining, and strength to clear the space and restore function.
